What is a Central Reserve Police Force?

CRPF is a paramilitary force which was latterly known as Crown Representative’s Police from 27 July 1939. This force is India’s largest Central Armed Police Force. This force works under Ministry of Home Affairs. These officers are usually recruited in a very young age, so they have a lot of scope of promotion and higher rank. History Of CRPF

The history of officers starts from 1939 with  2 battalions in Nimach and Madhya Pradesh to 191 battalions currently. Earlier the main objective was to protect British residents in dangerous areas and states. After Independence, the force was renamed as Central Reserve Police Force by an Act of Parliament on 28 December 1949. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the then Home Minister, visualized a multi-dimensional role for it in tune with the changing needs of a newly independent nation. Qualification For CRPF New Vacancy 2021

New vacancy comes almost every 2 months, in 2021 only many jobs came in and you will see a specific consistency in Qualification. So the main educational qualification requirements of officers is 10+2 Pass at least. So here are the main points in bullet points.

  • Flat feet, Knock knees, squint in eyes and physical defects ruled out

  • Eyesight Near Vision should be

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process of the Central Reserve Force happens in 5 different stages for the Recruitment of CRPF Head Constable and many other posts. These processes are Written Examination, Typing Test, Personal Interview, Physical Efficiency Test, and Physical measurements.
